"Rudy" Duettiger, about whom the movie of the same name was made, was the guest of the Xavier Society for the Blind at the New York Athletic Club. Rudy was available to meet and spend time with guests during a two-hour cocktail reception, and then he entertained and inspired the audience with stories of his life both before and after his time at Notre Dame.
