On December 1, the Xavier Society for the Blind launches its first sponsored trip abroad. (Trips to the pub around the corner don't count.) A hardy band of daring travelers join Fr. John Sheehan, SJ for a ten-day exploration of some of the great sites in the Holy Land. (What better way to see the Holy Land than with a Jesuit priest who looks like a Jew?)
Stay tuned for updates and reports on the trip.
In other news - a new calendar is in preparation and will be mailed out in early December. If you are NOT a regular recipient of mail from the Xavier Society, and you would like a free copy of our calendar (suitable for actually writing dates and appointments in - very hand) send us an email and we'll send you one.
Email: Xaviersocietyfortheblind@Yahoo.com
Snail mail: 154 East 23rd St
New York, NY 10010
I know, it's really long, but it's also really easy to remember. And we NEVER sell, rent or lend our email or mailing lists to anyone - ever.
